Snow.....how peaceful it makes me feel.

Zeke in the snow

Here in Lewisburg WV, we haven't had too much snow, as some other areas have.  Today, it had started to snow early in the afternoon.

I was sitting at my desk reading some blog posts, when my dog, Zeke, brings his toy and wants to play.   I looked out my office window  and  said "Okay, lets go play".....and out the door we went.

Oh, I always love it when it starts to snow.  Everything is covered with a white blanket.  It is so beautiful and serene.  I watched Zeke play in the snow and looked around at how quite and peaceful it is.  Here are a few photos, can you feel the peacefulness?

The weather forecast for tonight is more snow ...6 to 12 inches.  YEA!

I agree. I love when it snows. However, I don't like it after it has stopped. lol

Great, I am sending several thousand truckloads of it your way guys. I have had enough of it this year.

Oh my, I just knew you would get a response from someone that has been inundated with snow, and snow, and more snow :)  But for those of us that just get a little every couple of years, it is indeed beautiful and peaceful :)

I too love freshly fallen snow.  I haven't yet gotten tired of it for this year, although it is a little melty and dirty right now.  I love living in a Christmas Card!

Rebecca-I have plenty of snow here in Westwood, Mass. in fact as I type this it is 3 degrees above zero. All the beautiful snow we got is a big block of frozen whatever. So enough of this snow already!

Tony - I agree with you, it is not so pretty when the snow starts melting.

Ian -  whoa now, don't think I want that much...thank you very much!

Kathy - yep, I expected such comments..lol

Barry - just hope you stay warm!

Coeur - That's exactly what it is .. a living Christmas Card!

Joseph - Well now, I don't think I'd like ALL that..

Looks like Zeke knows how to have a good time... these are times I wish we had a 4th season.
