Looks like great info on locally grown, fresh "everything". It really does make a difference on the dining room table. Thanks for sharing.

Rebecca, the Lewisburg Farmers market always sounds like such a great place to go get fresh veggies and fruit. I didn't realize until reading your post today that they offer eggs and meat too. You can't beat home grown!

Jeffrey, I agree fresh is better.

Toni, thank you.

Rebecca: Farmers markets are a great way to get fresh produce and help out local farmers at the same time.  I always enjoy them...the baked goods are yummy too! ;-)

Hi Rebecca, home grown veggies are fresh and no pesticide, as well as to support local businesses.

Fresh fruits and vegetables always taste so much better. Nothing like vine ripened!

Rebecca,  I can smell the tomatoes.  Our Farmers Market doesn't open until Oct or Nov.  You'd think we lived in a different hemisphere.  Have fun and stock up.

Tis the season, as there is nothing better than home-grown and fresh. We have been stopping at the farmer's markets, as often as possible.

Make it a great weekend!
