The Christmas Tree Lane Bazaar is an annual tradition at the Lewisburg United Methodist Church sounds like the perfect place to buy sweets, decorations and enjoy being in the Christmas mood. Great localism post Rebecca!
Hi Rebecca. Nice photos of the church and it looks like a nice spot to pick up some special gifts and treats. It's a nice collaboration of efforts from church members.
John, thank you.
Debb, it is also great for the children to pick out an inexpensive gift for family members and have them wrapped.
Rebecca...this sounds like it would be right up my alley. I do like retail therapy!
Anita, this is always a great event and a good way to meet the community.
What a difference a photo makes! I had to look not once, not twice but three yes three times to make sure it was you Rebecca! You are indeed in the Christmas spirit ~
Rebecca, You look like the Merry Christmas Spirit herself! Love the look. Great slide show too!
What a fun event -- but not nearly as FUN as your new profile picture!! LOVE IT!
John, Ha, thanks it does make one get into the spirit.
Marge, thank you.
Joni...I will miss the event on Thursday but it usually is a big success.
Now it really is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. Retailers go overboard with Christmas seemingly beginning as soon as August. Uninspired by the overzealous retail push, Thanksgiving still does it for me and signals events like this to bring on the Christmas spirit.
Rebecca You are the umdisputed leader for composing community event posts - the Lewisburg United Methodist will benefit from your effort.
Charita, it is the time for so many Christmas events...our house and outside are decorated and we are ready to see all the events.
Karen, you are so kind and thanks for the nice remarks!
Hi Rebecca ( Mrs. Claus) - I had to come back when I saw your photo today. It's wonderful! You are really in the spirit...
Thanks Debb. Let me know if you see Mr. Claus :)
What a great localism post. It's holiday traditions like this that keep the Christmas spirit alive.
Larry, thank you and we need to keep the Christmas spirit alive.
