The Hillsboro Musician's Jam sounds like (literally) the place to be if you are in the Hillsboro WV area tomorrow.
Rebecca,
That sounds like a lot of fun. Musical jams often create great original musice. Pearl Buck's writing was beautful, and it is so nice that her memory is honored with music. A
Pearl S. Buck was a great writer and her home looks like a wonderful place to visit, Rebecca. What a nice event in honor of her.
Rebecca....I can't wait to see your photos from this event......sounds great!
Hope you have a GREAT Weekend!---Rob
Go Vols!
Rebecca, they say you never loose it, but I used to play the guitar and sing in church....now I can only sing and sometimes forget the words! LOL
Rebecca - The Hillsboro Musician's Jam sounds like a wonderful event with really interesting history on Pearl S. Buck, a spectacular writer (obviously -lol). Only wished I lived closer!
Anita, sadly I will not be able to attend, but I'm sure it will be lots of fun.
Susan, glad to see you here. I agree, a nice way to spend an afternoon. The weather here is cold, 45 degrees. At least it is not raining.
Ron & Alexandra, jam sessions are fun, and there are many talented musicians in the area.
Toni, I agree!
Rob, I will not be able to attend this event, but may be able to get some photos.
Ellen, I would love to be able to play an instrument. Always wanted to play the piano, but have a missing finger and thought I couldn't....but I am contemplating taking lessons now. they say it is never to late to learn.
Kristine, yes a great event at Pearl Buck's birthplace, just sorry that I can't attend this one.
