"Over the sounds of Ilya Yakushev reciting Tchaikovsky on the piano or Don Rigsby picking a banjo, you'll often hear the sound of power saws and sanders behind the counter at The Barn on Court.

owner of The Barn on Court, Lewisburg WVThe Barn is owned and operated by Bryan Hunt, a Columbus, Ohio native with brotherly ties to Lewisburg.  Bryan's brother is a teacher at Eastern Greenbrier Middle and the girl's soccer coach at the high school.

Bryan strives to bring unique home furnishings, custom created woodwork and artwork to the Lewisburg community.  He has the ability to restore antique furniture and relics as well as create custom wood furniture in his Court Street shop.  At The Barn, you will find a wide selection of art in various mediums from modern acrylic paintings to etchings to vintage Japanese woodblock prints.

Bryan enjoys fly fishing for the elusive trout in his spare time, as he has for the past 20 years, and is also an avid hunter.  You might also catch him kicking a soccer ball around when he's not manning the shop.

Rebecca, the Barn on Court sounds like my kind of place.  I've always admired people who could work with wood.  I've made a few things out of wood that I've been proud of...there's something special about working with wood.

Fabulous series Rebecca. I'd like that wine bench and I just showed a house today with a wine cellar that it would look great in too.

Hi Rebecca,

Love the presentation and the very coll combination of restoring, use of reclaimed materials, and art.

Very Cool local community update, new business is always good for added excitement and growth in a community, specially if and when this business is so unique and attractive as you have presented it.
