Outstanding Play, Outstanding Actors! Little Women, the Musical...A Must See!

Little Women, the Musical.....Outstanding Play, Outstanding Actors!

What a delightful treat my husband, Claude and I had last Saturday night.  We attended the musical. "Little Women", at the
Greenbrier Valley Theatre.  I've enjoyed reading the book and watching the movie of "Little Women",  but this musical was outstanding!

Little Women is an all-new musical, based upon Louisa May Alcott's much-loved novel.  The play brings to life the charming characters of the March family.  Like the novel, the musical
tells the story of the March sisters, Jo, Meg, Amy, and Beth as they grow from girls into women, guided by Marmee, their beloved mother.

Oh, goodness...one of my favorite books when young too!  Oh, I wonder if I still have it at mom's house. I would love to attend this play if I resided here.

Several years ago I saw a production of "Little Women" in Cleveland, it was an excellent show........amazing how they turned it into a musical.

I love the book and the original movie so I bet I would have enjoyed the play as well.  Good that you were able to take some time off and relax a little.

Hi Rebecca,

I love the book and have seen several videos with different actors in it...  but I have never seen a play of it before.  I am sure that would just be divine to see it as a play.... wish I could be there to see it in person!  I'm glad you and your Husband Claude had a good time.

Emily, Aunt March was a good role to play.

Leilani, mine too!

Sally, you would have enjoyed it, as much as I did!

Roger, I agree.

Anita, it was relaxing. But, when when the lights went out I hurriedly wiped my eyes. I can cry at the drop of a pin.

Joan, yes great entertainment and already planning to see the next two shows.

Kristine, the GVT puts on great musicals and plays.

Kathleen, I did SO enjoy it and wish everyone could see the musical.

Lee and Carol, indeed!

Linda, a great time it was!
