Today was very exciting! My first day at work as a volunteer for the Greenbrier Classic. I was assigned to work in the Merchandise Tent. It is very, very nice, and it is Air Conditioned...better than being outside in the hot sun all day. We were pretty busy considering today was the first day of the Tour, but by Thursday it will be busier than a bee's nest.

While taking a walk on the grounds of the Old White Golf Course, I snapped these photos....
The Old White Golf Course is beautiful....and this area was so serene ... I just wanted to stay here for a while and take in the beauty on this beautiful Monday morning.

Beautiful looking course Rebecca...
Rebecca Greenbriar looks like a very beautiful course with all water! I bet it was a fun time.
Volunteering always feels good, and beautiful pictures! Enjoy your time in the A/C!
You mean with all the money that golfers make, and all the money from Sponsors and Advertisers, you don't get paid to work in the Merchandise Tent? I never would have thought that. I guess they need volunteers so that they have money to give to those golfers for walking around a beautiful golf course hitting a little ball. LOL
Rebecca....The pictures of the Old White Course are absolutely beautiful. Have a great event and enjoy your volunteerism!
