The East coast definitely got a lot of snow this weekend. The news stated that this was "one of the worst US blizzards in decades". Well, West Virginia had its fair share of snow. It started to snow on Friday, and today (Sunday), the sun is shining and it is so beautiful....my Winter Wonderland!

My you did get a lot of it. The blizzard has been on the news today but your photos give a better idea of how deep the snow is. No one will have to dream of a white Christmas, you are going to have one for sure!
Rebecca ~ You certainly got a lot more snow than us but you live further north than me. Beautiful Pictures.
We only got about 4 or 5 inches and the power went out for about 30 hours right after I blogged about it saying it probably will go out and it did soon after. Here are a couple of mine that I took with my cell phone and finally figured out how to rotate them upward...
Beautiful pictures, Rebecca. It was a bit foggy here on the San Francisco peninsula this morning, and now sunny. My brother lives in Wheeling, so your pics help me imagine what his surroundings look like today. Merry Christmas!
Rebecca- We lived in Leesburg, VA for a few years and I remember my first big snow. Being from the south, snow was something I saw in the movies. Your photos remind me of how beautiful snow can be (as long as you're safe at home!).
You know e never get snow and usually have to travel quite a distance to find any at all! It looks like a winter wonderland! Stay warm!
Your pictures are beautiful. We got about 15 inches here in Southern MD - located right on the Bay and Patuxent River. It's absolutely beautiful here today with the sun out finally.
Hi Rebecca,
Thoses pictures do look wonderful.
We don't get too much snow here in central Texas and I certainly miss it around Christmas time.
Now I'm off to sunbathe in the back yard!!! LOL
Steve
It looks absolutley beautful. Sometimes I miss the snow -especially around Christmas. Thanks for sharing your snow with me! Let's make some snow angels and banana's! LOL
Hello Rebecca-Well you most definitely got more snow than us but with no way to clear it then 8" is still enough. Glad to report I am home.
Rebecca--You pictures a great. We got 24 inches here in Williams, AZ, so I know what it's like. Snow is very nice during the Christmas Season, but maybe not quite so much!
Rebecca - Your photos are just beautiful and sure paint a very scenic winter wonderland.
Thanks everyone for stopping by and commenting...Merry Christmas to all!
