If you missed my post yesterday, Come One, Come All to the 22nd Annual River Festival in Ronceverte, WV, here is some important informantion for area musicians.
On Saturday, June 13, Bluegrass "Battle of the Bands" will be held at the festival. This contest will allow area musicians to display their talent. Each band will be given 20 minutes to play and will be evaluated by local and outside judges. The battle of the bands will be held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
First place prize includes $150 cash; a trophy that the winning band holds for one year until the next festival; and, the opportunity to play with and open for the Ronceverte River Festival headliner Grandstaff.
