For All The Mothers

my momTomorrow is Mother's Day.  A day we remember our beloved mothers. 

Every Mother's Day, our entire family would be home and attending the family church.  Now since there were 11 children, some with spouses and children, the Vasvary family would take up quite a few pews on Mother's Day.  Mother loved this day as she new all her family would be together at church and dinner. 

I remember the last time the family attended church together.....it was Mother's Day.  My mother was dying, she had pancreatic cancer and died September 2, 1967.  Se was a remarkable woman and mother.

But, her memory lives on with her children. Although it has been 42 years, a day doesn't pass without me thinking of my mother.  She was, as I am sure your mother is too, VERY SPECIAL.

 

 

So to ALL THE MOTHERS...a bouquet of flowers is being sent your way...HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY.

Rebecca, that's beautiful. :)   Happy Mother's Day to you too.

I ordered flowers for my Mom, and I'm hoping they will be delivered on time.  She is on another continent - but will probably visit in the Fall, at which time I'm sure my house will be packed with the entire family.

Hi Rebecca, thanks for sending me here. Great post. I lost my mom 3 years ago and still miss her so much. Wow, 11 kids...I thought I had a lot with five.

Missy, my mom had 12, one died at birth.

Debbie, thanks for the great compliment.  I have 6 sisters, and we all favor my mom. My 4 brothers, really look like my dad as they get older.
