Yes, I feel the same way as Lenn Harley does about Twitter. Her post, TWITTER. AN ENIGMA FOR SURE, BUT, HEY, I'M A 21ST CENTURY GAL (INTERNET ADDICT). I'M TRYING., is exactly how I feel. I do not spend much time on Twitter, and really do not understand what it is all about.
But, I will not give up on Twitter.
So, this morning when I read Lenn's post, I went to Twitter to follow her. I found some more people following me. One in particular was Joel McDonald / joelrunner. So, I in return followed Joel. Then I get an email from him...
"Thanks for the follow. You finally made me feel like SOMEONE! This song is for you: http://tinyurl.com/dehr65

Thanks for the mention Rebecca! I think the song is hilarious, and the fact that you like it enough to write a post about it is a testament to the fact that Twitter isn't just a place to post silly "I'm eating lunch" posts, and it's also not a space to post nothing but blog post announcements, or solicit your business. However, it is a little of everything, and when you do it right, the benefits are astounding.
I just had something happen to me TODAY that I have a feeling couldn't have happened without Twitter. I'm sure my next blog post will be on that subject.
Happy Twittering!

Rebecca, that song is hilarious! A definite sign of the times. I am resisting Twitter because I just don't have enough time in the day!
Oh no! A Twitter song? I'm going to have to show this to our IT coach - she's truly a TweetHead!
Joel...you are welcome...I love the song.
Lara, thanks for stopping by...you got to give Twitter a try...
Kent, don't you just the song..
