A Relaxing Morning on Cheat Lake, Morgantown, WV

What an awesome morning. We settled around the fire pit early Friday morning for breakfast.  Looking at the beautiful Cheat Lake.  Talking about the previous night.  The day my brother-in-law, Phil Gaujot took the oath of office as Judge of the Seventeenth Judicial Court of Monongalia County.   It was great being with family and enjoying this peaceful, relaxing morning after such a wonderful event.

A Judge in the Family

 

 

The Honorable Philip D. Gaujot

 

Yes, we now have a Judge in the family. 

My husband, Claude, and I were in Morgantown on Thursday, September 17, for the swearing-in and robing ceremony for his brother, Philip Gaujot.  Phil is now a Judge of the 17th Judicial Court of Monongalia County. 

 

Phil has practiced law in West Virginia for 38 years and is looking forward to this new challenge.  After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Waterfront Hotel. 

 

This was a huge day for Phil and our entire family. And, of course, we are tremendously proud of his accomplishments. 

 

We wish him a long and successful tenure.
