"Focus on You" Beauty Salon Now Does Shellac Manicures, a Woman's Dream Manicure
Remember the acrylic nails. I use to wear the acrylic nails, and when the acrylic was removed, my own nails were thin, with ridges and would break easily...so for that reason I stayed with acrylic. NOT ANY MORE! I now have shellac nails. Shellac is about a 45 minute in-salon manicure that dries instantly and the polish stays on for 2-3 weeks without chipping.
Sue has been shellacing my nails for six months and it takes the same amount of time as getting a regular manicure. Since using Shellac on my nails....my nails grow and are stronger than ever.
Here's the process. First, a base coat, then 10 seconds under an ultraviolet light to dry. Next, a first coat of shellac just like regular polish. Then two more minutes under the ultra-violet light followed by another coat of shellac, more ultra-violet drying, and finally a top coat. And one final stop under the ultraviolet rays.
A final wipe with alcohol, cuticle oil, and you are finished. Since your hands are under an ultraviolet light use sunscreen on your hands before going to the appointment.
To remove the Shellac, each nail is wrapped in acetone-soaked cotton for ten minutes. Guess what ladies.......the polish slides off so easy. You then get a regular manicure, and the polish you desire. When done....the nails are completely dry. It truly is amazing and I love my nails.
