Paying It Forward - Helping Kids Kare
This month the Greenbrier Board of Realtors are working to help "Kids Kare". This program helps furnish school supplies, clothes and food for the children of the Mountain View School located in Union, WV.
Most do not know the embarrassment a child must have to come to school without basic supplies (pencils and paper). Then, when you put in that some come to school with shoes or clothes to small or with out socks the school supplies seem even less of a need to a child.
I am paying it forward to Kids Kare in supplying pencils, pens, notebook paper, notebooks, binders, socks and underwear.
I talked with Toby McMahan, Title 1 Parent Resource Coordinator of Mountain View School. Toby says, "these supplies will last a short time and in a few months will need more paper and pencils, clothes and food. With help from Kids Kare, the school will be able to continue to supply the needs of children."
So I'm asking you to please help and provide supplies or donations for Kids Kare and lets help the children with these needs throughout the year.
