Ghost Tours of Historic Lewisburg
Enjoy a candlelight walking tour of haunted homes and sites in the Lewisburg Historic District. Tours take place on Friday and Saturday evenings in October. The two-hour tour departs at 8:00 PM nightly from The General Lewis Inn located at 301 East Washington Street, Lewisburg, WV. Cost is $20 per person, Children 7 and under free. 6th Annual Haunted House
Get ready for Halloween with the Northern Greenbrier Ambulance 6th Annual Haunted House, located at the Renick Firehouse on Route 219 North, Renick, WV. Hauntings begin on Friday, October 15 and continue each Friday and Saturday night through Halloween.
There are more twists and turns than this year making your adventure through the dark more terrifying and exciting. Dracula will be looking for new victims.
The Haunted House is open from 7-10 pm each Friday and Saturday night leading up to Halloween: October 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 6 and under. For more information, please call 304-497-4334.
The Renick Firehouse is located 6 miles north of Frankford across from Morningside Cemetery.
Haunted Barn Sponsored by Greenbrier County Emergency Ambulance
The Greenbrier County Emergency Ambulance will host a Haunted Barn on October 15,16, 22, 23, 29, 30 and 31 from 7-10pm. The Haunted Barn will be located at the State Fairgrounds in the cattle barn and small arena. Cost is $6 per adult and $4 per child under 10. For more information, call 304-645-2252.
Alderson Hospitality House of Horrors
The Alderson Hospitality House, located at 203 High Street, will host a haunted house from 7:00-9:00 pm on Wednesday, October 27 and Thursday, October 28.
Grab your wits and experience decades of history on guided tours of a century-old Victorian home. Admission is free, but donations to support AHH will be accepted.
The Alderson Hospitality House was established in 1976 to offer a warm welcome and support to visitors at the women’s Federal Prison Camp in Alderson. Guests are offered meals, transportation and sleeping accommodations. For more information, call 304-445-2980.
