Ready, Set, Learn
The Greenbrier County Schools will start on August 25, 2011. If you are new to the area, below is a list of the elementary, middle and high schools in the county.

Bus Enrollment Cards
All students who are transported on a school bus must complete an enrollment card during the first week of school, providing a contact number, physical address and parent/guardian signature. Need assistance obtaining your physical address, please call 304-647-6461.
Bus Stops
All bus stops must have a physical address and must be approved by the transportation supervisor. All new stops or changes to existing stops must be approved. To determine your child’s bus stop, please contact your child’s school or the office of the transportation supervisor at 304-647-6461.
Bus Passes
Students must be enrolled on a bus in order to board and ride a bus to an approved stop. Students must ride their assigned bus to his/her designated approved stop. Only when a dated, signed note from a parent/legal guardian is delivered to the school principal or their designee at the beginning of the school day will exceptions be made. The principal or designee shall issue a bus pass to be delivered to the bus operator. This bus pass may only be for an approved stop. A bus pass may be issued for any number of days as deemed necessary by the principal,
parent or legal guardian. Students who are not enrolled on a bus must secure a bus pass in order to board a school bus and ride to an approved bus stop.
Loading & Unloading
Pre-k students require parent supervision at both pickup and delivery at the bus stop. If the pre-k parent elects to designate another ADULT a written request to the transportation department listing the names of all adults to be approved is required. A parent or their designee must be at the bus stop for both pickup and delivery of all students in kindergarten through and including second grade. If the parent elects to designate another adult or sibling (grades 6 –12) a written request to the transportation department listing all approved names is required.
