If you like toffee and chocolate here is a great recipe ... easy and delicious!
Toffee Chocolate Bars
Ingredients
1 c. soft butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 c. flour
5 Hershey Bars
2/3 c. chopped walnuts
Cream butter and sugar, add egg yolk and flour. After mixing, put mixture on a slightly grease 10.5 x 15 cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes at 350.
Immediately after taking cookie sheet from the oven, place chocolate bars over cake mixture. Let the chocolate melt, then spread it over cake and sprinkle walnuts on top of chocolate.
Cool slightly and slice in small squares. (If longer than 3 minutes, may be hard to cut and crumble)
