If I could save gain an extra 3+ hours per week, I would spend my time......helping others!
My real estate board, Greenbrier Valley Board of Realtors, provided training on using DocuSign. I feel that using electronic signatures will definitely help me save time. Using DocuSign will save 3+ hours per week..... so how would I spend this time? Definitely spending more time with my husband, and visiting more time with my siblings would be on the list, but on the top of the list would be helping others.
If you have read my blog, you know that I like helping Habitat for Humanity of West Virginia. Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer-driven organization. Earlier this year, I helped build a house for a single mother and her four children. It was hard work, but a good feeling helping this family and seeing them receive the key to the house.
In 2012, Habitat for Humanity will celebrate 25 years in West Virginia!
Partnering with local affiliates, Habitat for Humanity of WV is embarking on an ambitious campaign to build 25 new homes with 25 hard-working, deserving families throughout our State.
Habitat's first house will be the 25th Anniversary Celebration-The Silver Lining House. In order to raise money for the construction of this West Virginia milestone, Habitat for Humanity of West Virginia will be hosting an online raffle in the spring of 2012.
If I could save an extra 3+ hours per week, I could spend more time volunteering to get donations for the raffle prizes to help fund The Silver Lining House. I'd be talking to business owners and asking for donations for this great cause.
At this time, I have been able to obtain three donations for the raffle.
A wine cooler/vase from potter Diane Pittis
and two items from Terri Howard, owner of The Pottery at the Greenbrier Art Colony Shops.
Using DocuSign in my business would be fabulous.....Oh, what I could do with an extra 3+ hours.....you got it.....get out and pound the streets for more and more donations!
As a volunteer, I experience the joy created when a family is able to realize their dream of home ownership. There are so many people in need today, and this is my way of helping others who are less fortunate. Now tell me, how would you spend the extra time?
